Richard Stewart is proud of the community service work he does for the City of Inglewood. For the past three years Richard has assisted in the Inglewood Set a Good Example Contest working with elementary, middle and Jr. High School kids.

It is very rewarding helping the kids with this annual contest.

GRAFFITI TIPS: How to eliminate!

NEXT DAY "early morning" paint outs are essential to eliminate graffiti or tagging in your area. Two things are established with this discipline:

1. The taggers go into apathy about ever getting there mark or "message" out and give up.
2. The taggers begin to get a "sense" that they are being watched in the area if there "work" is painted out so quickly.

Color Selection Tips

Look at a color chart and give yourself only 10 seconds to come up with the color you like. Then do the same thing and give yourself 5 minutes to pick out the color. Chances are it's the same one!

A good way to find an exterior color you like is to just drive around the neighborhood and find a house you like. Just write down the address and your painting contractor can easily go by and match the colors!

Selecting A Painting Contractor

When selecting a painting contractor remember there are four essential questions you should ask him:

1. Do you have a contractors license?
2. Are you insured with Workers Comp and Liability insurance?
3. Does your foreman speak English?
4. Do you have recent references I can go by and see or talk to the owner?
