Richard Stewart is very active in his community of Sunland-Tujunga. As President of the local Rotary Club and a member of the Neighborhood Council, Richard stays right in the middle of things. For example, he recently returned from Mexico where he helped chaparone a group of students from the Verdugo Hills High School Interact (junior Rotary) Club as they visited the Estado 29 Orphanage near Ensenada. This is an annual event, with our local students interacting with the Mexican children and delivering gifts of needed clothing, purchased with funds the students have raised.

Inglewood Community Service
Richard Stewart is proud of the community service work he does for the City of Inglewood. For the past three years Richard has assisted in the Inglewood Set a Good Example Contest working with elementary, middle and Jr. High School kids.
It is very rewarding helping the kids with this annual contest.
GRAFFITI TIPS: How to eliminate!
NEXT DAY "early morning" paint outs are essential to eliminate graffiti or tagging in your area. Two things are established with this discipline:

1. The taggers get a "sense" that they are being watched in the area when their "work" is painted out so quickly.
2. The taggers go into apathy about ever getting their mark or "message" out and give up.
